Vegitable Fat

 What is Vegitable Fat

Vegetable fat is a type of edible oil that is made from vegetables. Vegetable fats are often used in the production of food items such as margarine and salad dressing.

The most common vegetable fats are soybean oil, canola oil, cottonseed oil, sunflower oil, and corn oil.

Vegetable fat is a good source of vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids which have been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and other chronic conditions.

Vegitable fat vs Vegitable oil

One thing to keep in mind is that vegitable oils are high in monounsaturated fat, while vegitable fat is high in saturated fat. This is why it’s important to choose oils that are high in polyunsaturated fat (including omega-3s) as well to help balance out the fats in your diet.
